What We Look For During Evaluations
Starfire Dollz welcomes girls ages 5–10 of all dance experience levels. No previous dance experience is required. Our evaluations help us get to know each dancer and determine whether she's ready to participate in our program.
We'll observe each dancer's willingness to learn, ability to follow age-appropriate directions, participation in group activities, basic coordination, and overall readiness. We understand that every child develops at her own pace. Perfection is not expected, and participation in evaluations does not guarantee placement on the team.
From interest to
team sisterhood.
Evaluations are beginner-friendly and focus on effort, rhythm, coordination, listening and willingness to learn. No previous dance experience is required.
The interest list and evaluation do not enroll a dancer or require payment. Regular practices are closed to spectators; the exact practice address and private BAND invitation are shared only after enrollment is confirmed.

Starfire Dollz is a youth majorette dance team designed for girls ages 5–10.
When and where are practices?
Practices take place in Columbia, Missouri. Exact practice details are shared privately after enrollment.
How long is the 2027 season?
Our inaugural season runs March through August 2027. The first practice is March 1, 2027.
Will dancers perform every month?
No. Starfire will participate in selected community performances and a small number of select parades. Quality training, readiness and safety come first.
When are the 2027 team evaluations?
Saturday, February 6, 2027, from 3:00–5:00 PM. Check-in begins at 2:45 PM. Families will receive acceptance information by February 8.
What should dancers wear to regular practice?
Families receive practice attire guidelines and preparation details privately before the season begins.
How will enrolled families receive team updates?
Enrolled parents and guardians receive access to our private BAND group for reminders, announcements, event details and exact practice-location information.
Where can I see tuition and team-package information?
